Prospects of All Whites home match fading

11:39 am on 23 July 2010

The prospects of the All Whites playing a home match before the end of the year are fading with Football New Zealand still unable to organise a match.

Football NZ was keen to have the All Whites play a match in New Zealand after their unbeaten run at the World Cup in an effort to maintain the profile of the game.

But chief executive Michael Glading (pron Glayding) had hoped a match could be arranged in October, when there is a FIFA international window, but New Zealand's geogrpahic isolation is proving difficult to overcome.
