The former Wallabies hooker Brendan Cannon has been told to apologise for branding South Africa's rugby coach, Peter de Villiers, a clown and a puppet.
Cannon opened fire after de Villiers suggested referees had favoured the All Blacks to help boost crowds at the World Cup next year.
He said he couldn't believe senior players like John Smit and Victor Matfield allow themselves to be controlled by de Villiers.
Cannon was speaking on a Fox Sport programme and the network was told if there no apology, players and coaches would be off limits.
