Football's Chatham Cup final betweeen Bay Olympic and Miramar Rangers has been put back a week to avoid any potential ground impact from a provincial championship rugby match at North Harbour Stadium.
North Harbour host Waikato on September 4 and New Zealand Football's Glyn Taylor says delaying the final until Sunday September 11 will give the ground time to recover.
Taylor says because an Auckland side's involved, the final is contractually required to be held at Albany.
