The New Zealand men's football team has been beaten 5-nil by Brazil in their second group match at the Olympics.

The Oly Whites were on the receiving end of some spectacular flair and pace from the South Americans, who had world stars Ronaldinho and Anderson in their lineup.

Brazil scored after just 3 minutes... they led 2-nil at the break and another 3 in the second half with Ronaldinho netting twice.

It leaves the New Zealanders with a draw and a loss and they'll need a win against Belgium in their final match to have any chance of qualifying for the knock-out stage.
