Rubin Statham will lead off the New Zealand Davis Cup tennis team in the Asia-Oceania group 2 final against China in New Plymouth this afternoon.
The New Zealand number two will play China's number one player Yan Bai with the second match immediately after between New Zealand number one Daniel King-Turner and China's number two Peng Sun.
Tomorrow's doubles match will be between Daniel King-Turner and GD Jones for New Zealand and Shao-Xuan Zeng and Xinyuan Yu for China.
The winner of the tie will move up to Asia-Oceania group 1.
