The heavyweight boxer Shane Cameron's planning a homecoming bout in Gisborne for his next title defence.
Cameron, the current World Boxing Organisation's Oriental and Asia Pacific titles holder, along with his manager Ken Reinsfield, will meet with Gisborne mayor Meng Foon on Wednesday, to finalise details for the February bout which will be an open air affair at Rugby Park.
Cameron's currently ranked seventh in the WBO heavyweight world rankings.
