The US-based New Zealand golfer Tim Wilkinson has popped up on the European Tour and got himself on the first day leaderboard at the Dunhill Links championship, being played on three different courses in the Edinburgh area.

Wilkinson shot a five under par 67 despite dropping a shot on the last hole at Carnoustie, and he's tied for fourth, one stroke from the lead.
