North Queensland Fury have described as "an absolute disgrace" the postponement of tonight's A-League football match against Newcastle Jets.
The match in Newcastle was officially postponed a little more than 24 hours before kick-off due to the poor condition of the pitch - a direct result of a motocross event being held in the stadium a week ago.
The Queenslanders were informed of the postponement when they were in transit from Brisbane to Newcastle yesterday.
North Queensland's chief executive has levelled the blame at the Newcastle Knights league club who're the stadium's major tenants.
An alternative date for the match has yet to be decided.
