Romanian Victor Hanescu hopes to be the second player at the Heineken Open tennis tournament to knock out a top seed in Auckland when he lines up first on court today playing the Spanish second seed Nicholas Almagro.
The first seed fell yesterday with French qualifier Adrian Mannarino easily beating the Argentine fifth seed Juan Monaco 6-4 6-3.
Hanescu, knows he's in for a challenge against Almagro but says he's confident of causing an upset on the hard courts in Auckland.
