Australian cricket team concede floods weighing on the minds

5:22 pm on 14 January 2011

The Australian cricket team will be looking to bring England's record Twenty20 winning streak to an end when they square off a the MCG in the second and final T20 tonight, but opener Shane Watson says it's been nearly impossible to focus on cricket while the horrific flooding in Queensland continues.

The born and bred Queenslander says the home side will be doing everything it can to halt England's run, but says the importance of winning a game of cricket pales in comparison, to the tragedy unfolding in their back yards.

The game gets underway at 9:35pm.
