The Wellington Phoenix head into the final stages of the A-league football season knowing anything but a horror run of results will seal their place in the playoffs.
A couple of points from their last three games should be enough to get them through, but with two tough away fixtures and a horror record across the ditch it will be a nervous couple of weeks for the Phoenix' fans.
They take on third placed Adelaide tomorrow night and despite losing key backs Ben Sigmund and Manny Muscat through suspension, coach Ricki Herbert says the Phoenix will have only themselves to blame if they fall short of the post-season.
