The Williams veteran Rubens Barrichello has closed the Jerez Formula one test by setting the fastest time on the final day.
His lap was 1.242 seconds faster than Ferrari's Fernando Alonso and two seconds beyond Sebastian Vettel's Red Bull.
McLaren failed to set the times alight at their first test with the 2011 car with Jenson Button ninth.
The teams continue their pre-season preparations in Barcelona's four-day test which begins next weekend.
The first Grand Prix is in Bahrain on March 13th.
