The former Australia netball captain Sharelle McMahon says the Diamonds' constant experimentation will make id difficult for the archrivals New Zealand to formulate a game plan to beat them at the world champs.

Australia the defending champions Australia have used very different line-ups in their pool games as they build towards Sunday's grand final, which bar any major upset wil be against the Silver Ferns.

However McMahon warns the rotation of players could also work against the Australians.

She says it may not allow the team that coach Norma Plummer finally settles on enough time to work together.

McMahon is at the world champs as a radio commentator having been ruled out of the tournament when she ruptured an achilles tendon in March duirng the trans Tasman competition.
