The New Zealand men's and women's basketball teams will play double-headers against their Australian counterparts, in a best of three series in September in a bid to qualify for next year's London Olympics.
The first games will be in Melbourne on September 7th, followed by matches in Brisbane and Sydney.
The winners will automatically qualify for the Olympics with the losing side's having to participate in a further qualification tournament, against the best non-qualifiers from all FIBA zones to earn a berth.
