All Black team named Mils to play 100th

10:04 am on 7 October 2011

Fullback Mils Muliaina will play his 100th Test for the All Blacks on Sunday after being named to start in the World Cup quarter-final against Argentina at Eden Park.

Muliaina gets the start with Israel Dagg recovering from a thigh injury.

Piri Weepu starts at halfback with Colin Slade and Ma'a Nonu outside him, while Cory Jane and Sonny Bill Williams are the wings.

Captain Richie McCaw returns to the forward pack that also includes Kieren Read, and there's no room for Adam Thomson anywhere in the 22 - head coach Graham Henry says he's not right yet, while Richard Kahui wasn't considered because of a hamstring injury, and Zac Guildford is also absent with his hamstring twinge.

On Thursday assistant coach Steve Hansen said the only injury concern was winger Zac Guildford but Henry says Hansen didn't have the full picture.

Henry says Dagg and Kahui will be available next week if the All Blacks reach the semi-finals.

Victor Vito joins new No.10 reserve Aaron Cruden on the bench.
