Mental adjustment behind away form for City

Manchester City's rise to the top of English Premier League football is down to totally changing their mentality since last season and by treating away games the same as home matches.

City manager Roberto Mancini says that attitude adjustment's made the difference, after they went five points clear last weekend with a 6-1 drubbing of Manchester United at Old Trafford.

The breathtaking attacking style's a marked contrast for City, who often employed a more conservative approach previously, especially on their travels.

In their last three away games in all competitions, City have netted 15 goals rather than be content to tighten up and sit on a slim lead as they might have done in the past.

Mancini says the change is important if they want to be a top team because the pitch is always the same and they know they can lose every game if they don't play always 100 percent.
