Sachin Tendulkar steered India to victory last night in their first cricket test against the West Indies in New Delhi, but he prolonged his agonising wait for his 100th international century.
Tendulkar sparkling innings finished on 76 when he was trapped lbw by the West Indies leg spinner Devendra Bishoo.
India won the match with 5 wickets to spare.
The second test starts in Kolkata on Monday.
