Bench helps Breakers again

The New Zealand Breakers bench again sparked the side to a come-from behind 86-73 victory over the 36ers in Adelaide last night.

The top-of-the-table Breakers started slowly again and trailled by 1 at half time before they got their game going at both ends of the court.

Forward Gary Wilkinson was dominant in the second half and finished with 30 points, but he says the bench players including backup centre Alex Pledger played their part.

The Breakers have 9 wins from 12 games, one more than the Perth Wildcats, and the Townsville Crocs are third with five wins having played only 9 games.
