After a month of reflection Robert Allenby has put his drama-filled 2011 behind him and believes a career-best season is on the horizon.
Allenby kick starts his 2012 US PGA Tour season at Waialae Country Club in Hawaii this week, the first full field event of the year, in the "best mental state of his life".
The statement comes after the 40-year-old managed just three top 10 finishes in the US in 2011 and ended the year with a below average Presidents Cup and a subsequent verbal and public spat with Geoff Ogilvy.
