The New Zealand cricket selectors have decided who'll don the gloves the one-off Test against Zimbabwe at Napier - but coach John Wright's keeping his cards close to his chest whether it's BJ Watling or Kruger van Wyk.

Watling hit 84 and 20 retired in his two innings for the New Zealand selection in the drawn three-day warmup match at Gisborne... taking two catches behind the stumps... while van Wyk, playing as an opening batsman only, hit five and 61 retired.

Wright says he and his fellow selectors have made up their minds but they'll reveal all after talking to the players after they arrive in Napier.

The Test begins on Thursday in Napier.
