Sharapova dismisses grunting criticism

The former Australian Open champion Maria Sharapova says she has no intention of changing her on court ways despite being criticised for her incessant shrieking.

Poland's Agnieszka Radwanska says Sharapova's grunting is annoying and she wants officials to introduce rules to at least reduce it.

Radwanska was beaten in the quarter-finals by Victoria Azarenka from Belarus, who's also been widely criticised for grunting excessively.

However Sharapova is dismissing the criticism.

The Russian is through to the semi-finals where she'll meet the Czech Petra Kvitova.
