Black Caps play down prospect of one day series walkover

The New Zealand cricketers are playing down the prospect of Zimbabwe being a walkover in the coming three-match one day series, despite humiliating the visitors with a winning margin in the one-off test in Napier of an innings and 301 runs.

Zimbabwe were expected to provide much stiffer opposition in the test, and the Black Caps all rounder Doug Bracewell says the tourists will have a point to prove in the first one dayer on Friday in Dunedin.

Zimbabwe beat New Zealand when the two sides last played a one dayer in October, although the Black Caps won the series two-one.
