Graham Henry to help Olympic coaches

7:54 pm on 17 February 2012

Rugby World Cup-winning coach Sir Graham Henry has taken up a job with High Performance Sport New Zealand and will work with some of the country's leading high performance coaches ahead of the London Olympics.

Henry will help coaches fine-tune their preparations, so they can perform at their best in London.

His first assignment is with the Yachting New Zealand Olympic coaches later this month.

Sir Graham says he expects to be passing on experience more than anything technical, so the young coaches won't make the same mistakes he made.

Henry has a part-time role with the New Zealand Rugby Union to coach coaches.
