Arsenal overwhelm Spurs

Arsenal staged a magificent fightback to thrash Tottenham Hotspur 5-2 in their north London Premier league football derby, easing the pressure on their manager Arsene Wenger.

Reeling from a heavy Champions League loss to AC Milan and an FA Cup exit at Sunderland, Arsenal pulled back an early two goal deficit in the space of three minutes, then cut loose with three more in the second half including a double to Theo Walcott.

Arsenal are back into the Champions League qualification places ahead of Chelsea.

Meanwhile Ryan Giggs celebrated his 900th match for for Manchester United with a last gasp goal to give them a 2-1 win at Norwich, reducing Manchester City's lead in the title race to two points.
