Several Maori organisations in Gisborne have won awards in the town's annual Westpac Business Excellence Awards.
Radio Ngati Porou took out the debuting Maori business excellence award, while Accommodation Ahi Kaa won the micro-excellence award.
The Whangara Farms received the primary industry award and Turanga Health the community services award.
Radio Ngati Porou chief executive Erana Keelan-Reedy says it's great for Maori organisations to be acknowledged for running excellent businesses.
Each will receive business mentoring and $500 of advertising.
