The Serious Fraud Office has decided to take no action against a subsidiary of the kohanga reo movement.
Its commercial arm Te Pataka Ohanga had been accused of financial irregularities, but the SFO said on Tuesday it has found no criminal offending and no further action is warranted.
The agency investigated considered several loans made to staff and whanau and the use of Te Pataka Ohanga credit cards.
It said while some expenditure on a work credit card related to personal items, including a wedding dress, it is satisfied that was done in error and the money was repaid.
The SFO said other problems related to failures in corporate governance are being addressed.
