Some automatic teller machines in Auckland and Wellington are to be splashed with Matariki inspired designs to celebrate the Maori new year.
The ANZ bank is behind the idea, which came from some of its staff in the Maori and Pasifika networking group.
The Matariki designed ATMs have been designed by Ngati Whatua Orakei descendant Arekatera Maihi, who is based in Whakatane.
