Twenty-one years on from Wu-Tang’s debut Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers), the clan have a new album out.

A Better Tomorrow has the trademark production of RZA, the group’s defacto leader, who punctuates chopped-up and slowed-downed soul tracks with clips from kung fu films.

As well as producing and rapping, RZA, also known as Robert Fitzgerald Diggs, has acted in film and TV and made his directorial debut in true-to-form kung fu flick The Man With The Iron Fists, which he also starred in.

LISTEN: RZA joins Music 101’s Emma Smith on the phone to talk kung fu influences, cinema and what it took to bring the clan back together.
