Headquarters: Inside Fazerdaze's bedroom studio

8:27 am on 25 August 2015

Headquarters sees the Music 101 team go inside the homes and creative spaces of New Zealand musicians.

Amelia Murray, aka Fazerdaze, writes and records in her bedroom studio in Grey Lynn.

Sharing a flat with two other local songwriters – Dictaphone Blues’ Eddie Castelow and Herriot Row’s Simon Comber – Amelia is currently working on a follow-up to her self-titled EP, which was released late last year.

‘Take It Slow’ is the latest track in her lo-fi dream-pop repertoire. Co-written with guitarist Mark Perkins, the two premiered the song for the Music 101 team.

My Top 5: Fazerdaze picks her favourite New Zealand tracks.
