A man has died after a fight at a party in Mangere overnight.

Police said they were called just after midnight after a 19-year-old man was taken to Middlemore Hospital, where he died.
They said the death was unexplained and a post-mortem would take place later today.
A scene examination is now taking place and witnesses are being interviewed.
