Italy beat England 4-2 on penalty kicks in their Euro2012 football quarter-final in Kiev on Sunday.
The score was 0-0 at half-time, full time and after extra time.
The Azzurri had much the better of the game, with more than 30 attempts at goal.
Two attempts struck the posts in extra time and a goal was disallowed.
Italy will now play Germany in the semi-finals in Warsaw on Thursday.
Spain will play Portugal in Donetsk on Wednesday.
The final is next Sunday in Kiev.
