More than 20 student leaders detained in Myanmar on Friday have been released.
The detentions occurred in several different locations, including five in Rangoon.
7 July is the 50th anniversary of the suppression of a student movement 50 years ago.
Dozens were killed and the student union building at Rangoon University was dynamited the following day, four months after a coup by General Ne Win.
