Moose missed, but bear hit

A driver in Norway who swerved his car on a country road to avoid running into a moose, hit a bear instead.

The crash happened late at night near a forest 225km north of Oslo at around midnight on Wednesday.

The driver was not hurt, but the bear was injured. Wildlife officials are searching for it.

Norway has around 100,000 moose and only 150 brown bears.
