Police in France have detained five people following a riot in the northern city of Amiens on Monday night.
Four of the arrests were made in the northern district of the city, where rioters destroyed property and 16 police officers were injured.
The BBC reports the riot has revived memories of unrest on deprived housing estates dominated by immigrant communities in 2005.
One of those five arrested is a suspected ringleader, who is charged with incitement to rebellion.
Other charges lagainst the detainees include arson, robbery and trafficking stolen goods.
It is still unclear what provoked the outbreak.
