Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard is back home to be with her family after the death of her father.
Ms Gillard cut short her visit to Vladivostok for the APEC summit after her father John died in Adelaide on Saturday.
She arrived in Adelaide from Russia late on Sunday afternoon.
The ABC reports she asked for privacy while she grieves with her family.
Mr Gillard, 83, moved to Australia from Wales in 1966, along with his wife Moira and Ms Gillard, who was a toddler at the time.
Ms Gillard said he was determined to give her the opportunities he did not have.
