The BBC is to hold two inquiries about accusations of sex abuse against the late Jimmy Savile.
Sir Jimmy was a media personality who worked for the Corporation for four decades from the 1960s.
He was knighted for his charity work.
Police say they have received 340 potential lines of inquiry into accusations he abused girls during his career.
