Two Saudi border guards have been killed in an ambush by gunmen in the south of the kingdom.
The interior ministry said the attack happened in Najran district on the border with Yemen.
The BBC reports Saudi Arabia has been fighting al-Qaeda, which has used the lawlessness in Yemen to set up bases there.
