A man in New Mexico who threw a mouse onto a pile of burning leaves watched in horror as it ran into his house and set the building ablaze.
Luciano Mares, aged 81, of Fort Sumner, found the mouse inside his house and wanted to get rid of it.
He says he had some leaves burning outside, so he threw it in the fire. But the burning mouse ran back into the house.
The house and everything in it was destroyed.
