Eight people died in a fire in a street market in the tourist city of Siem Reap in Cambodia.
Police identified the dead as merchants and their families who were sleeping in the market when the fire broke out early on Saturday. Officials said it was probably caused by a short circuit.
A number of other people were taken to hospital for treatment of burns.
Siem Reap is near the temple complex of Angkor Wat, about 300km northwest of Phnom Penh.
