Police in Germany say a passenger thought to be sleeping while sitting upright on a Berlin underground train as it cross-crossed the city was actually dead.
Police don't know how long the man was sitting dead on the train nor do they know the exact cause of death yet. But it appears that he died of natural causes.
The man was found in an underground train line that runs all night when a railway employee at the Weinmeisterstrasse station tried to wake him at 5.45am on Sunday. Medics were called and pronounced him dead.
A preliminary investigation showed no indications of the man being murdered. An autopsy is planned for Monday.
