Boat sinks in Guinea-Bissau, scores missing

Rescuers in the West African nation of Guinea-Bissau have been searching for about 70 people missing after the sinking of an overloaded boat carrying almost 100 people.

Officials say 22 bodies have been retrieved.

The BBC reports that the wooden boat was ferrying people from the island of Bolama to the capital, Bissau.
