A bomb exploded in a crowded area in Karachi, Pakistan, on Tuesday, killing at least two people and wounding 50.
Geo News television said the blast was near a market.
The BBC reports sectarian trouble has been growing in the city. Several Shias were recently killed in drive-by shootings.
A cleric was killed at an Islamic seminary in December. And seven students from the seminary were shot by unidentified gunmen at a tea stall on 10 November.
