Fourteen political activists in Vietnam, most of them Catholics, have been convicted of plotting to overthrow the state.
All but one were sentenced to prison, with terms ranging from three to 13 years.
The 12 men and two women were charged with membership of Viet Tan, an exiled organisation based in the United States.
