Jennifer Hudson is to perform America The Beautiful with a chorus from Sandy Hook Elementary School in the NFL final at the Superbowl in New Orleans on Sunday.
Sandy Hook is the school in Newtown, Connecticut, where 20 children and six adults were killed in a on 14 December.
The National Football League also said Alicia Keys will sing the national anthem before the kickoff of the game between the Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers.
The ABC reports other artists including OneRepublic and Matchbox 20 will be part of a televised pre-game show.
Beyonce said on Friday she will sing live at the SuperBowl at half-time:
"I will absolutely be singing live. This is what I was born to do, it is what I was born for."
The BBC reports last year's Super Bowl half-time show was watched by an average of 114 million viewers.
