The funeral of a teenage girl shot dead eight days after performing in a high school band at the inauguration of President Barack Obama has been held in Chicago.
First Lady Michelle Obama was among the mourners on Saturday, the BBC reports.
Hadiya Pendleton, 15, was killed on 29 January in a park in Chicago in what police believe was a case of mistaken identity.
She and some friends were shielding themselves from rain under a canopy.
A reward of $US40,000 has been offered for information leading to her killer.
