A third person has died in hospital following the collapse of a brick wall in Melbourne on Thursday.

Bridget Jones, who was 18, was critically injured when the 15-metre long section of wall collapsed onto Swanston Street in Carlton on Thursday afternoon, killing her brother Alexander Jones, who was 19, and a woman in her 30s.

AAP reports that Ms Jones died in Royal Melbourne Hospital on Sunday morning.

On Saturday, the parents of the siblings, Sue and Ian Jones, said they had been left devastated by the tragedy.

Police are still asking for witnesses, including passengers on passing trams, to contact them.
