Sell-out attendance at Origin III

The deciding match in the State of Origin rugby league series is now sold-out, with the match set to break an attendance record set in 2004.

After winning the first match, New South Wales is chasing its first Origin series victory in eight years.

AAP reports more than 82,000 spectators are expected to attend the match on 17 July, which would break the series attendance record which currently stands at 203,309 - set in 2004.

More than 132,000 fans attended the opening two games, including a record 80,380 at the first.
