A car bomb has caused a huge explosion in the Lebanese capital Beirut in an area that is a stronghold of the militant Islamist movement Hezbollah.
Dozens of people were injured by the blast, which sent large clouds of black smoke billowing into the sky.
The bomb went off in a carpark next to an Islamic centre.
Lebanon's health minister has put the number of wounded at 53, the BBC reports.
Interior minister Marwan Charbel has condemned the blast and says he is determined to not let such attacks increase tensions between religious groups in the country.
He believes the explosion was meant to create a bigger schism between Sunni and Shia.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
