Police in New South Wales are concerned for the welfare of a Sydney man who went into the Blue Mountains on Tuesday.
Gary Tweddle, 23, from Cremorne, was last seen early on Tuesday leaving the Fairmont Resort in Leura. He had been there for a work conference.
Police said he spoke to colleagues on his mobile phone just after midnight and told them he was lost in bushland, but was near a main road.
The ABC reports up to 200 volunteers from the Rural Fire Service, the State Emergency Service, police rescue and bushwalking groups continued searching on Stunday.
However, Inspector Paul Glinn said the weather worsened overnight.
