Eight people in Iraq were killed and 25 wounded by a suicide bomber on Monday at a cafe in Balad, about 80km north of Baghdad.
Earlier, two people were killed and and 11 wounded by a roadside bomb close to a school in the town of Muqdadiya, 80 km ortheast of the capital.
The weekend was one of the bloodiest this year, in which more than 60 people were killed and 300 wounded in a series of bombings.
